Inspiration and an ambitious start
The history of Ametist LLC began in May 2022, when we took our first step towards success by launching a new maritime container line. The first export voyage to Turkey on the Novorossiysk-Gebze route marked the start of international service and became a significant milestone for the company.
Expanding horizons
In August 2022, we opened an office in Novorossiysk, taking another step towards strengthening our position in Russian market. From that moment, Ametist has been represented in two major port cities at once — St. Petersburg and Novorossiysk — which has allowed us to respond more effectively to customer requests.
Focus on service and development
February 2023 was marked by a fleet increase: we had two vessels — Astrol and Meta One. This allowed us to improve our service and offer our customers more flexible solutions.
Industry recognition
We were very enthusiastic about participating in the TransRussia2023 exhibition in April 2023. Although Ametist was a fledgling company, we attracted the attention of industry experts by presenting our services at Russia's largest logistics exhibition.
New opportunities for our customers
In the second quarter of 2023, we announced the “Turkey – Novorossiysk – Moscow,” intermodal product providing convenient rail service between Novorossiysk and Moscow. We also began accepting empty containers in several Russian cities: Moscow, Yekaterinburg and St. Petersburg.
Global footprint
Since the beginning of 2024, we have been cooperating with the agency office in Turkey, which helps Ametist to organize a reliable international service. We didn't stop there and continued to expand our geography. In the same year, Ametist established cooperation with agency offices in Egypt and Israel. In 2025, we participated in the largest specialized international exhibitions Logistech Izmir, Logitrans Istanbul, World food Moscow and Food Africa 2025.
Sustainable growth
By 2026, the container fleet has reached 6549 TEUs. We continue to actively expand our cooperation with lines to meet the growing needs of customers. In 2026, as part of the Ametist forwarding service, 4 vessels of partner lines are already involved.
Our team
At the beginning of 2026, the staff reached 62 people, which was an important milestone in our development. We are confident that only with a strong team of professionals can we achieve outstanding results and continue to provide high-quality services to our customers.
